Dawson Cram is usually found driving a 3400 pound truck, participating in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series with his own #41 truck. However, on July 17th, Cram picked up a new set of keys, piloting the #74 Chevrolet Camaro for Mike Harmon Racing for the Ambetter Get Vaccinated 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Dawson Cram found success, spending a majority of the race near the top-twenty, before climbing up to nineteenth near the conclusion of the race.

The opportunity to drive in the Xfinity Series was more than just one more series to race in for Dawson Cram. The nineteen-year-old, who co-owns Cram Racing Enterprises, uses every opportunity to gain experience and learn more about the sport he loves so dearly. After the conclusion of 200 laps, Dawson found himself feeling, above all else, extremely grateful. “I cannot thank Mike Harmon Racing enough for the opportunity. Excited for the future, and blessed for this life!”

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is NASCAR’s northernmost race track, and features a dedicated fan base. Those who attended had the opportunity to watch NASCAR’s youngest team owner, piloting a car type he’d never driven before, at a track he’d never driven before, and doing so with confidence and determination. Cram embodies the definition of a skilled race car driver, keeping the #74 scratch-free, and putting the Chevrolet Camaro in position to pick up valuable owner points. To Cram, it was more than just a race. It was an opportunity to grow, to learn, and to live the sport that has been a calling to him since he was a kid.
