Dawson Cram and Cram Racing Enterprises are excited to announce the launch of the brand new website “dawsoncram.com.” The website will be the official place for news and updates for the #41 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team, along with updates and highlights from the 2021 season. “dawsoncram.com” is also launching a line of merchandise, which can be purchased on the website. The entire website is much more than just a place to have web presence- it’s a culmination of hard work, dedication, and a love of racing.

“We’ve put everything we have into this.” These words spoken by Kimberly Cram, Dawson’s mother and Operations Manager of Cram Racing Enterprises, echo what it takes to make it in racing today. Cram Racing Enterprises is a labor of love, centered around the love of racing and the desire to improve. In 2020, Dawson Cram stormed onto the scene as an eighteen-year-old, relatively unknown driver, in the #55 Chevy for Long Motorsports. Soon after, he began to gain interest from fans, commentators, and sports writers, as he consistently outperformed his equipment and became a fan favorite of “underdog teams.” Cram quickly earned the respect of his competitors, after he began consistently logging top-twenty, and top-fifteen runs, in a truck that most thought shouldn’t run better than 30th. As the season concluded, Cram and his family took a giant leap of faith and purchased the #55 Long Motorsports team and assets, and effectively began their own NASCAR Truck Series team as Cram Racing Enterprises, with a newly numbered #41.

Most nineteen-year-olds are headed to college, or busy “living up” the last of their teenage years. You’ll find Dawson Cram, when not at the race track, in a small shop in Mooresville, North Carolina, passionately fixated on a 3400 pound race truck. Working alongside his father, Kevin Cram, there isn’t a square inch of a race car that he hasn’t turned wrenches on. The road hasn’t been easy, and Cram’s team has experienced its growing pains. However, In the midst of a resurgence in NASCAR, fans returning to the track and new sponsors coming down the line, Cram’s team has found consistency. Among nine starts this season, Cram’s team has a best finish of 17th, along with a trio of 21st place finishes. Most of all, his trucks have finished nearly all the laps in one piece, ensuring Cram’s team can continue to the next race, which he has been extremely grateful for.

A finish of seventeenth or even twenty-first means more than just prize money to Dawson Cram and his family. These finishes signify the results of endless hard work and a collective team effort. The team’s steady growth highlights the fact that they made the right decision to start their own team, and put forth the money and effort to compete each week. Cram’s team is hoping that consistent results will bring forth more interest from sponsors, which will enable the small team to improve performance.

Kimberly Cram states, “As an organization, our goal is to partner with companies who will benefit from leveraging our audience, and who recognize the value we have to offer in national exposure, brand awareness, and a unique in-person experience at live sporting events. As Cram Racing Enterprises continues its growth, we hope to build lasting relationships with our partners that mutually benefit all parties.”
